The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26.
DRPT has received federal financial assistance from the USDOT; and as a condition of receiving this assistance, DRPT has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.

DRPT’s DBE overall goal for the three-year period of Federal Fiscal Years 2025–2027 is 10.6% for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) assisted contracts. However, the goal has been paused as we wait for the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity to recertify DBE firms.
