State Management Plan

The State Management Plan (SMP) is a comprehensive and coordinated document that describes DRPT’s policies and procedures for administering the state-managed portions of FTA Section 5310, 5311, and 5339 programs. Its primary purposes are to serve as the basis for FTA’s State-level management reviews and to provide public information on the state’s administration of programs. This SMP also includes DRPT’s goals, policies, procedures, and administrative requirements.

Who is this for?

The SMP is utilized by DRPT, its subrecipients, and the FTA.

Requirements

DRPT must have an approved SMP on file with the FTA and update it regularly to incorporate changes in program management or new requirements.
